Honda Argentina presents new developments in Nautical, Automobiles and Motorcycles – El Regional Digital

Honda Motor in Argentina is part of ExpoAgro 2024, where it shows a wide portfolio of motorcycles, cars, power and marine products, thus showing the company’s presence in different moments of users’ lives of this, from garden care, housework, daily transportation by land and sea, in addition to agricultural work.

A rare “outboard”

The big news from Honda at the show is the presentation of the new BF350 V8 outboard engine with a power of 350 horsepower. With a displacement of 4,952 cm3, the BF350 will be a flagship model of the brand and Argentina will be the first country in South America to sell it. In addition to high performance and navigability, the BF350 achieves a high level of quiet operation, low vibration and stands out for its fuel economy. It will go on sale in May with a 3-year warranty, the company reported.

The company explained to journalists that in the Power and Marine Products segment, Honda had an excellent performance in 2023 that ended with more than 15,000 units sold in the sector. At the same time, a historic milestone was reached, reaching the sales record for outboard motors and continuing to lead the professional market. Marina’s goal for 2024 is to climb to the first place in the market and the launch of the BF350 is an indication that it is ready to achieve this.

Honda: 45 years in Argentina

In the dialogue of El Regional Digital, Víctor Pruvost, Manager of the Auto and Power and Marine Sales Division, commented that the decision of the company to be in Expoagro is what unites us every year, because it is the great party of the countryside and agro – industry.

Honda has been in the country for 45 years, and has always been optimistic knowing that something better is coming, so it continues to grow its business units, where its strength is manufacturing of motorcycles, in addition to a strong nautical base. and automotive, said the director of Honda Argentina.

Other products

Regarding garden and agricultural products, Honda presents a battery of products such as brushcutter, fence cutter, chainsaw and blower. This line contributes to the brand’s goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 and will be sold by May 2024.

For the motorcycle division, visitors to the exhibition will be able to enjoy several references that place Honda as a market leader: the XR family, with the models XR150L,​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​a, Motorcycle, in the world, in the motorcycle sector, the X190L, and the XR250 Tornado. In 2023, Honda ended the year with more than 104 thousand motorcycles sold, which is the brand that sells the most in the country.

As for cars, two of the last three launches of the brand that make up the SUV family were presented at ExpoAgro: ZR-V with the latest technology and excellent safety equipment, highlighting the driving assistance system called Honda Sensing and 8 airbags, among others; and New CR-V, an emblematic model for Honda in Argentina and with a great history, which came to position itself as the leaders of its segment between 2015 and 2017. Now it is the turn of the sixth generation completely changed with disruptive exterior design, 1.5 engine turbo and 10 airbags.
